Art Under Glass....heavenly paperweights for you
Art Paperweight

Modeling transparent hardening gel?
I trying to make a paperweight for art, and I need a material that can harden in a solid shape, optimally no or little air bubbles, and transparent.
I tried to use gel glue, but it was to blue and there were bubbles all over the piece that I couldn't even see what I modeled and shaped inside.

I'm trying to make something like that.
I took a look at the photo.
It looks like the piece is made of glass
The only clear materials I know are glass and some plastics
Both materials have their problems so a class would be the safest way to proceed.
The glass is hot and needs to be cooled slowly
The plastic resins need to be measured carefully while wearing safety goggles and gloves in good ventilation.
I am skeptical about this working - there is a clear acrylic medium that is used in mixing acrylic paints. I don't know if small thin coats of this would be clear enough. There are also some clear epoxy glues (Some are a bit yellow)
I think that glass would be the best material but that is best done in a glass blowing class.
