can i put this corelle bowl in a 220 degree celsius oven?
i found the series my bowl is in - Corelle Livingware winter frost white.
i read up the product care and use section and this is what it came up with:
DO NOT USE ON STOVETOP, under a broiler/griller, under a microwave browning element, in a toaster oven, or on or near any other direct heating source such as range heat vents, pilot light, open flames, etc.
my oven isn't a toaster oven or a broiler and i'm only going to use it in a 220 degree oven to make chicken pot pies.
so do you think putting this bowl in my oven is safe?
Yes, it should be safe. I would think that if it were a problem, the instructions would say so.
If it turns out to be a problem, complain to the company. They might refund your money or send you a new one.
