What was this dessert?
I was watching a show the other day about the times of slavery in the USA, and they mentioned that the masters use to have a certain dessert. It was in a glass, and the bottom half was some sort of liquid (alcohol) and the top half was a custard dish. What could it be?
No, its not creme brulee or pots de creme. It was served in a wine glass / champagne glass.
Atticus, its not creme brulee nor was it anything else mentioned here.
Im going to guess the same English custard used in Trifle
