Japanese fad - Gay boys?
Japanese culture has this fad that’s not exactly new but has taken on some momentum in the past few years, it’s called shonen-ai, or yaoi, if you want to go extreme. It means boys love, or basically gay porn. The Japanese had been spreading it to Korea, China and other east asian cultures, and it’s spreading still. It has gone far enough that straight singers/celebrities are dressed in feminine clothing and are kissing each other in photo shoots.
I find it kind of worrying, to see all these girls around me obsessed with (most of the time “fake”) gay boys, and drawing gay porn. I want to know your opinion.
Guys have been obsessed with girl on girl love for ages. I say it is time that women are able to entertain the same fantasies. If I want to read a SFFic or a yaoi comic, I will.
