Does Wizard and Glass by Stephen King get better?
I'm reading book 4 (Wizard and Glass) of the Dark Tower Series by Stephen King. I'm on like page 370 and I'm pretty bored. I've never took so long to read a Stephen King book. Does it pick up and get better eventually?
Skip ahead to where they've finished telling Rolands loooong backstory. There's this really cool long (but good long) scene involving a gate with 13 crystal bars of 13 different colours and... well you read it yourself. I can't do it justice.

Best Theresienthal Glasses
A unique jewel of company in a fast paced modern world, Theresienthal literally stands for the true meaning of 'hand-made in Germany'. Established in 1836 in a valley in the hills of the Bavarian forest, the manufacture was named "Dale of Queen Therese of Bavaria" (Theresienthal). King Ludwig I, the husband of Queen Therese was one of the first supporters and the noble houses and monarchs of Europe including the Russian Czar followed suit.
Hand crafted Bavarian crystal, the Colours Collection features a series of cased crystal tumblers and elegant carafe. Jewel colors set off by an intricate pineapple cutting illuminating the clear crystal beneath. For casual elegance at the table or bar, Colours represents a refined version of an 'English club' shape.
The King himself supported Steigerwald in establishing the manufactory and granted him monopoly to certain kinds of glass. Theresienthal did not fail to keep its promise in the shortest period of time, the crowned glass with the special lustre managed to conquer the high society of the great cities, the royal courts of Europe, and the hearts of crystal glass lovers around the world. Glasses at Kings Island?
I'm going to Kings Island for a school field trip and I wear glasses. I need to wear them to Kings Island so I cant leave them at home. They might fall off while I ride the roller coaster. I don't want to put them in those little boxes where you put you things while you ride the roller coaster. I don't want to wear eye glass retainers either. I can't put them in my pocket or else they'll probably get crushed. I don't have enough time to get contact lenses because the trip is in a month. Any suggestions on what I can do?
Glasses & Roller Coasters.
I have to wear glasses as well (and I don't have the option of getting contacts). I wear my glasses while riding! Believe it or not, "real" glasses fit way better than sun glasses. Therefore, they usually stay on your face. I love roller coasters, and I have NEVER lost a pair (and, I've been riding coasters for 25 years with glasses).
Now, sometime, they tell you to take your glasses off (not that common), and it needs to be stuffed somewhere. Here are a couple of suggestions:
(I go to Parks with) a fanny-pack (ugly, but very useful)
Wear shorts with cargo pockets (glasses are much more resilient against crushing than you think)
You can wear krokies (glass restraints -- if you're nervous, it's worth it)
