Average price of glass repair for a residential window?

I just broke my kitchen glass window. It's a single pane window glass about 27x32''. Has a metal frame and I broke the part that slides.
1- any estimation on how much this will cost me (my first time dealing with glass repair)
2- Any hints on a good glass repair around foster city, ca ?

I am in chicago, and I would guess about $35 to $55.
A reputable hardware store would be able to do it. Remove the broken glass including the metal frame and take it to the store to have it re-glazed. Phone first, or check the phone book, or internet for your area that repairs broken windows.
