Kitchen Catastrophe: 2 Glass Bowls, 1 STUCK Inside The Other, TIGHT! - HOW to SEPERATE W/OUT BREAKING EITHER !

The larger bowl is a 1 Quart Pyrex Measuring Bowl (with glass handle).

The smaller bowl is maybe a pint sized , older, medium blue colored, Pyrex mixing bowl.

I already tried pouring oil between them for lubrication.

But, they still --only very barely-- budge at all.

Will sure appreciate suggestions that will enable me to seperate these two bowls,

BOTH, intact & otherwise undamaged!

Any Realistic, Workable, Suggestions?

I actually did try te hot/cold water treatment
(hot for outer/cold for inner bowls), but I was afraid of cracking them, so didn't use too hot or too cold of water... How do I know whether the temps are safe?

ALSO: the Top bowl is NOT LEVEL.
It is cock-eyed, at a DEFINATE angle.
I think it's what's called a 45 degree angle.
So, both bowls can't be level at the same time...

Stick them in the freezer for an hour and see if they will come apart that way.
