Best way to wrap/ship pyrex mixing bowls?
I have a set of pyrex mixing bowls I'm sending to my sister out of state (they were our mother's), and wondered if someone could please tell me the best way to ship them/protect them from breaking in shipment? Should I simply use bubble-wrap?
And I almost think it might be best to ship them separately.
Please help, my family would be very upset if they broke in transit.
i thing if you wrapped each in their own couple layers of bubble wrap then stacked them with peanuts or newspaper surrounding them, they should be fine.

If a Pyrex dish has been cracked previously can i still use it for mixing?
I was botten a set of pyrex dishes but when me and my husband moved one of the bowls got a tiny crack in the inside of the bowl and it would be a shame to throw it out i think b/c we've just received them! Should i keep it and use it for mixing and salads??
I know it's frustrating, but that bowl is an accident waiting to happen. It's not safe for food.
I'd probably just throw it out. But if you can't part with it yet, maybe you could fill it with some silk flowers, bath oil beads, a large candle or use it as a fruit bowl.
