howcome tea is only usually served in small glasses?
I mean you never see people drinking tea out of large cups.
Really...? In our house, we have huge mugs (three measuring cups each) that we serve hot tea in. They are large enough that we usually use two teabags per cup. At most places we eat out, tea is served in a coffee cup, along with a pot of hot water for second dip with the tea bag... I am not sure that the premise for your question is valid or true. I hasten to acknowledge that I do know one little old lady who serves tea in a cup that has such a tiny handle on it, that I think it came from a childs set, but she is barely able to raise the teapot to begin with. She loves our big mugs. When she visits, she always points out that the tea stays hot longer in our mugs.

Why should you drink 8 glasses of water a day, and not something like iced tea?
I don't like drinking water, so I drink a lot of iced tea. Isnt that the same thing as drinking water, just with sugar?
The reason for drinking plain water is that it hydrates your body... any extra minerals included will also help with hydration... tea is an additive and it will make you more thirsty... or dehydrate you.
It is okay to drink tea occasionally, but it also has a negative effect on your kidneys...
I've heard that it is also fattening... and might cause arthritis... the certain acid in some teas can also eat away at your inner parts.... sick... but its no joke...
Water on the other hand, is also a purifier... and that's why it is suggested... but you really don't have to drink 8 glasses... 3-4 would work just fine, unless you do extreme activities...then 8 may be necessary...
