Why did Jesus turn the water into wine if drinking is a sin as Muslims and some Christians insist?
"nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."
Corinthians 6:10
Does this not mean that only a life of regular alcohol abuse is a sin? What evidence is there that consuming any amount of alcohol is a sin, and if it is why would Jesus turn the water into wine and use wine for communion in remembrance of him?
Yes, you have already been told it was non-alcoholic wine. It does not surprise me that Frizby imagines such piffle is true, given his other postings.
The insistence that this was non-alcoholic wine is one of the idiocies perpetrated by some of the more bizarre cults within Christianity. It is a product of ignorance of history and basic biology. How people could preserve grape juice for more than a few hours in those times is beyond any imagination.
Fermenting grape juice with the proper yeasts preserves it. The resulting liquid lasts for months or years and was mixed with water and allowed to stand for a while to make the water drinkable. The alcohol content of the resulting mixture was probably no higher than that of modern light beers, but the bacterial count was down and thus you were less likely to get gastroenteritis.
Natural water carries diseases. That's why we have filtration plants and chlorinate it now. The fact of an engineered supply of drinkable water is the only reason that anyone can take the "temperance" (teetotal) movement at all seriously. Prior to clean water supplies the temperance crowd would have been seen as flat out insane and in danger of dying of cholera or amoebic dysentery.

Was jesus morally correct in turning water into wine?
first off, is that not some sort of witchcraft?
secondly, excess alcohol consumption has negative effects on the human body, and by turning water (something that is good for you) into wine (something that is only good for you in small doses) is jesus responsible for the negative effects (liver disease for example) that the wine had on those who drank it?
do you have any evidence that Jesus ever done that?
actually do you have any evidence at ALL that jesus was even real?
